Vodafone 845 smartphone’s May launch confirmed
Vodafone announced its new Vodafone 845, an Android 2.1 (Eclair) powered smartphone. It is the first ever Vodafone own-brand Android smartphone and runs on latest software v2.1.

- a 3.2 megapixel camera and 500MB of memory
- GPS radio, 3G/HSDPA connectivity, WiFi, Bluetooth.
- MP3/wav/eaac+/wma player
- MP4/h.263/h.264 player
- Document viewer (word, powerpoint, excel, pdf)
- photo/video editor
- voice memo
- MicroSD, up to 16GB
The Vodafone 845 will come loaded with Vodafone software offerings including Vodafone 360 apps which includes the MyWeb services and Vodafone Music. It is full with so many features for what Vodafone says it a “low cost,” package.
Vodafone 845 is currently listed on Vodafone’s website as “coming soon,” due for this May arrival. Website states that USB cable, a charger and hands-free headset are all included in the package.
The Vodafone 845 will be available in first instance in 12 Vodafone markets. It will include UK also. Pricing has not been revealed but it will announced soon. We will keep you update as news will be on its corner.
