T-Mobile Becomes No.1 US Prepaid Wireless Provider

With 15.64 million prepaid customers compared to Sprint’s 15.19 million customers, T-Mobile surpasses Sprint and becomes No.1 US wireless provider in prepaid market. AT&T boasts 11.34 million customers while Verizon Wireless reports 6.04 million prepaid customers.

RadioShack Revealed T-Mobile Sidekick 4G Release Date on Twitter

T-Mobile officially unveiled its upcoming Android-powered Sidekick 4G smartphone by Samsung last month at CTIA 2011. Now RadioShack announced in its tweet that the SideKick 4G will be available at RadioShack on April 20 onwards, but prices have not been confirmed. AT&T to Acquire T-Mobile USA for $39 Billion from Deutsche Telekom!

In a stunning move, AT&T announced to acquire T-Mobile USA from Deutsche Telekom AG (DTE) in a cash-and-stock deal valued at about $39 billion. Both companies have entered into a ‘definitive agreement’ for the acquisition and this agreement has been approved by the Boards of Directors of both companies. Motorola have announced their first Android device, MOTOCLIQ, at Mobilize conference in San Francisco. The Motorola CLIQ will be an exclusive for T-Mobile customers in US, and will go on sale before holidays.
