Verizon Wireless and Research In Motion (RIM) introduced BlackBerry Curve 8530, an exciting new addition to BlackBerry Curve series of smartphones. Better Web Browsing on Winmo 6.5 than iphone: Microsoft

Microsoft’s top devices exec says that upcoming Windows Mobile 6.5 OS will provide better web browsing than iPhone. However, this claim has been made by a Microsoft employee, therefore it’s probably biased.

Acer’s four smartphones to launch in September?

Rumors sourced from Taiwan’s handset component suppliers says that Acer is planning to launch it’s four smartphones, the A1, C1/E1, F1 and L1, at the end of September and in this year’s fourth quarter.
The A1 is powered with Android, while other three are based on Windows Mobile (WinMo) platform.
The L1 will be manufactured by Compal on an ODM basis, while F1 and A1 smartphones will be rolling out on an OEM basis. Sources also indicated that Inventec will turn out C1/E1 smartphone on an ODM basis.
