Nikon D3000: A digital SLR camera with Guide Mode announced

In addition to Nikon D300S, one more DSLR camera with guide mode, was announced by Nikon. It’s Nikon D3000. Compare to D300S, it has less features but it’s an ideal choice for people looking to upgrade from point-and-shoot camera to digital SLR. It’s a pretty solid DSLR for $600, with a 10.2 MP sensor, a 230k pixel screen, 11-point autofocus system, a new Guide Mode, and an 18-55 NIKKOR VR lens.

The Olympus E-620 DSLR fits snugly between the E-30 and the recently announced E-450, in the middle of the Olympus ‘E’ range.
