Weighing just 28g, all-new Walkman B Series is small and light enough to take anywhere. Press the Bass Boost button and user will be blown away by pumping low-end. To take user’s music listening experience to next level, there’s a color-matched LED that pulses in time with music.

3 minutes charging gives enough battery power for 90 minutes listening, while fully charged Walkman B170 lets you listen non-stop for 18 hours. Sony Walkman B170 features a chunky clip, which attaches to a belt, bag strap, or clothing to show off user’s style. This Sony MP3 player connects directly to any Windows PC via built-in USB port, making it easy to upload favorite songs without any cable.

Copying files is a simple drag-and-drop process without installing any file transfer software. User can also connect Walkman B170 to a compatible hi-fi or car stereo. Sony Walkman B170 comes pre-loaded with ZAPPIN search technology, which scans through user’s music collection, displaying a snatch of each track without menus or playlists. Hear a track and press ‘ZAP’ button again to hear whole song.

Other highlights include an on-board equalizer and a voice recorder. Walkman B170 MP3 player is scheduled to hit the market in coming weeks with a choice of 2GB or 4GB. No official words on pricing at the moment.
