Sony unveiled first CCD Cyber-shot cameras with Sweep Panorama Technology

Sony is a creator of most innovative, stylish and high-quality digital cameras in the industry. It make cameras from novice to professional level photographers. Now, Sony has announced two new DSC-W370 and DSC-W350 digital cameras. Both 14 megapixel Cyber-shot cameras come with a CCD image sensor which provides innovative Sweep Panorama feature for capturing best shots.


Innovative sweep panorama technology allows to capture images of wide landscapes or tall buildings in one big movement. They automatically attach all images together to create one stunning panoramic photo. Both models can take up to 243 and 268-degree panorama shots with an image size of 7152 x 1080.

Sony also announced three cameras named DSC-W330, DSC-W310 and DSC-S2100 which offer a new thin and stylish design with advanced features like longer zoom and wide-angle lenses. These features provide versatility when capturing pictures.

The 14 MP DSC-W370 camera has a 7x long zoom lens, a 3-inch LCD screen, 720p movie recording capability, Optical SteadyShot image stabilization and HDMI output for easily viewing movies on compatible televisions. The W350 is smallest camera in height & depth and has a 2.7-inch LCD screen, a Carl Zeiss wide angle 26mm equivalent lens and a 4x optical telescopic zoom.

The 12MP CCD W310 model has a 2.7-inch LCD screen and 4x zoom with wide angle 28mm equivalent lens. For ultimate convenience the 12 MP S2100 model covers basic camera needs with a 3x zoom, 3-inch LCD screen and is powered by AA batteries.

All cameras and related accessories will be available at Sonystyle.com and presales begin in January. The pricing for W370, W350, W330, W310 and S2100 cameras are $230, $200, $170, $150 and $120 respectively.
