Good news for music lovers! Sony just announced the launch of two new speaker docks, an iPad compatible model with built-in subwoofer (RDP-X500iP) and a successor to Sony’s most popular speaker dock (ICF-CS15iP). Both sleek models offer premium sound quality and easy-to-use functionality.

Sony RDP-X500iP speaker dock

Designed for iPod, iPhone, and iPad, Sony RDP-X500iP speaker dock features Clear Phase DSP sonic technology with built-in subwoofer and groundbreaking magnetic fluid speakers, which provide a superior audio experience. It allows users to easily access music from other compatible devices via an auxiliary audio input. It takes users’ listening experience to next level with included fully-functioned remote control.

Featuring Sony’s state-of-the-art DMC technology provides powerful bass response in a remarkably compact form factor. With damperless magnetic fluid technology, built-in speakers deliver higher sound pressure levels, clearer vocals, and less distortion. Furthermore, Sony’s unique Clear Phase linear phase correction circuitry reduces distortion and increases sound presence. Its space saving layout features a sophisticated design.

Sony ICF-CS15iP speaker dock not only supports charging and playback of iPod and iPhone, but also delivers superb stereo sound via its MEGA BASS and Mega Xpand sound modes. Pre-loaded MEGA BASS mode provides an option to enhance bass response, while Mega Xpand mode expands music sound field for rich audio quality. Sony ICF-CS15iP features dual alarm functionality, which allows users to set two independent wake-up alarms. Its flexible dock connector is designed to accommodate docking and charging an iPod or iPhone without removing it from its case, while feature-rich remote control gives access to music on an iPod or iPhone from across the room.

Both speaker docks will be available at Sony Store and other authorized retailers nationwide in October 2011. Pre-orders are available now. Share your views with us in the comment box below. For more tech reviews, stay tuned to TechPlus.
