Sony brings PlayStation Move Motion Controller for PS3 system

Sony officially announced its long awaited motion controller, known as PlayStation Move at GDC 2010. This gaming console will bring motion controller gaming to PlayStation3 users, who are looking for move than just six-axis controller. PlayStation Move offers high-definition gaming experience, which takes you to a whole new level of extreme, ultra realistic game play.

PlayStation Move platform features motion controller, sub controller and PlayStation Eye camera with a strong lineup of software titles. Along with this motion controller, company will also release PlayStation Move sub-controller to be used with motion controller. This gadget allows you to immerse yourself into action with incredible precision, rather than simply playing a game. PlayStation Move includes a three-axis gyroscope and three-axis accelerometer as part of its motion controls and a color changing sphere, which is tracked by PlayStation Eye camera. You can put direct input through action buttons and an analog trigger with PlayStation Move.

Sony’s new PlayStation Move sub-controller is a one-handed controller, that comes with an analog stick and directional buttons for better control over game. This sub controller comes with a built in lithium-ion rechargeable battery and Bluetooth technology, for transferring input wirelessly to PS3 system without any cable. PlayStation Move motion controller and sub-controller, both brings an amazing gaming experience on PS3 system for games that use one motion controller or both controllers.

Sony confirmed that PlayStation Move will be available in multiple kits to accommodate different levels of users. Pack include Move controller, a Starter Kit that also bundles camera and a game and an entire console solution. Starter pack will cost under $100 in US, when it launches around Holidays.
