Sony added three new DSLRs in its flagship Alpha range, A850, A550 and A500, packing 24.6-, 14.2- and 12.3-megapixel sensors respectively. DSLR-A850 offers a step up to creative possibilities of full-frame imaging, including accessory compatibility, at a compelling price. While A550 and A500 individualize themselves by packing a new Memory Stick and SDHC card slots rather than Compact Flash.

Alpha 500 boasts an Exmor CMOS 12.3-megapixel sensor, an ISO range of up to 12,800, with 4 fps continuous shooting. It also packs an HDMI output, an HDR shooting mode and will be out in October, for $750.
