SnapKeys 2i Keyless Keyboard for Smartphones and Tablets!
Snapkeys introduced innovative Keyless Keyboard for the first time at 2011 Consumer Electronics Show early this year and this keyless keyboard is almost ready to launch. The revolutionary SnapKeys 2i Keyless Keyboard is a new method for easily and quickly entering text into mobile devices like Android, iOS, Symbian and Windows smartphones and tablets.
Snapkeys has been working on this technology for 9 years. Snapkeys also talked with major smartphone and tablet manufacturers as well as major carriers about this keyboard. The revolutionary text and data entry interface works on both mobile and fixed devices, including touch-screen and hard-key keyboards. SnapKeys 2i provides the only viable solution to the critical keyboard problems. The traditional QWERTY keyboard is never designed to be on-screen and covers most of the screen. QWERTY keyboard forces onto a screen, size of the keys is limited, which provides unworkable typing experience on smartphones and tablets.
The SnapKeys 2i interface allows simple and fast rich text entry. Combination of four imaginary letter keys and an advanced word prediction engine enables information to be entered faster than on a QWERTY keyboard with very high accuracy. SnapKeys 2i has four boxes to tap for letters with backspace and space. Each box represents a type of letter. Top left includes letters with one point that touches down like “I”, bottom left includes closed letters such as “D”, top right includes letters with two points on the bottom and bottom right curved and letters with a flat base. SnapKeys 2i interface requires only two thumbs to type, can be dynamically positioned anywhere on the screen and free up valuable space for applications.
Let’s see some other advantages:
SnapKeys chose the Orange County elementary school in Popka, Florida, near Orlando as the setting for the usability study to not only prove how easy and intuitive SnapKeys 2i is, but to fulfill his vision to start a worldwide revolution in data entry.
“Why should anyone – let alone children – spend years trying in vain to learn an outdated data entry system? The 5th graders in Florida have proven that anyone can start blind typing with SnapKeys2i in seconds. Furthermore,” he continued “they proved that SnapKeys is fun to use and it feels like you’re playing a game.” said Benjamin Ghassabian, CEO of SnapKeys Limited.
SnapKeys 2i Keyless Keyboard will be available in Android, iOS, and Windows devices, in all major languages.
