Samsung’s S9110 : The slimmest touchscreen watchphone yet
Samsung Electronics has officially announced their touchscreen watch phone, S9110, set to hit the market a month ahead of LG’s GD910. It claims to be the world’s slimmest “watch phone” which is just 11.98mm thick, 4.5 cm in size, comes with a 1.76-inch scratch-proof touchscreen and stainless steel body to cast the style.
There are variety of functions in it like Bluetooth 2.1, Outlook synchronization and an MP3 player, together with a speaker phone and voice recognition. However full specifications for this device, such as which wireless bands it supports, what’ the battery back-up and whether it has a front-facing camera, are unknown.
Samsung S9110 Watchphone will hit France later this month with a pricing of €450 ($639 approx). That’s almost half than it’s rival LG’s GD910 watchphone, which is set to launch on Orange UK in August, with a rumored price of £1,000 ($1,621 approx).
Hmmm… It seems that both the watchphones will battle head to head this month.
