Samsung Unveils 7-inch Galaxy Tab 2!
Global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies, Samsung just introduced its first line-up of tablets for 2012 with the launch of GALAXY Tab 2. Ideal for on-the-go users, Samsung GALAXY Tab 2 (7.0) will be available in 3G and WiFi versions. Starting from UK, all-new Samsung GALAXY tablet is scheduled to hit worldwide market in March.
Samsung’s first Android 4.0 ‘Ice Cream Sandwich‘-powered tablet, 7-inch GALAXY Tab 2 boasts a variety of new and improved Android OS features. It offers easy access to more than 400,000 apps available at upgraded Android Market. More intuitive user interface on this tablet includes the ability to swipe-control apps and a wholly redesigned app gallery for easier sharing of content. This new OS features a wide selection of embedded Google applications that enables users to quickly launch sites and apps that they use frequently.
“Two years ago, Samsung GALAXY Tab began to offer customers more possibilities on the go. Since then, Samsung has actively enhanced our tablet line-up with several tablets in different sizes,” said JK Shin, President of IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung Electronics. “The new GALAXY Tab 2 (7.0) will provide people with delighted multimedia experience and allow efficient communication.”
Enjoy easy multimedia access, playback, and sharing via Samsung Hub, while Music Hub provides access to over 17 million tracks. Additionally, Game Hub instantly connects users to latest game titles. Featuring Readers Hub offers easy access to over 2.3 million e-books, 3,500 magazines, and over 2,000 newspapers in 51 languages. Users can also get over 1,000 film titles for purchase or rent through new Video Hub.
Samsung’s upgraded Touchwiz user interface now features Hub widgets for one-step access to users’ content in Hubs. Superb multimedia experience is further boosted by Samsung’s AllShare Play, a new content-sharing service available for first time on any Samsung mobile device. Samsung GALAXY Tab 2 features 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 7-inch WSVGA display (1024×600) PLS TFT LCD, Wi-Fi, 3MP rear-facing fixed focus camera, front-facing VGA camerat, HSPA+ support, Bluetooth 3.0, A-GPS, up to 32GB memory, microSD card slot, and 4000mAh battery.
This 10.5mm thin tablet is also comes pre-loaded with useful utilities like Samsung Apps support, S Suggest, Kies Air, ChatON, Face Unlock, and much more.
