Samsung unveiled latest HZ35W and HZ30W high zoom digital cameras

Samsung company is a big manufacturer of high quality electronics products. The company has announced two new additions to its HZ-Series - HZ35W and HZ30W. Both cameras provide wide-angle 24mm Schneider lenses as their predecessors, 12 mega pixels and 15x optical zoom. They have extended zoom range of previous Samsung HZ series cameras from 10x to 15x. Now you can capture images of parties, landscapes and skyscrapers from a greater distance. Camera’s Schneider KREUZNACH lenses are paired with Dual Image Stabilization, so that user can click crystal clear images.

HZ35W digital camera features a 3.0” AMOLED display which was also seen in Samsung AMOLED 12M camera phone. It offers a much sharper and brighter display for a perfect vision. AMOLED screen gives advanced battery life with a higher contrast ratio and vibrant colors. The HZ35W has built-in GPS technology, so that user can geo-tag digital images. AMOLED screen will show name of city, state and country from where photo was taken. It allows user to check image’s location on a map without uploading it to Internet. HZ30W digital camera features a large, 3.0” TFT LCD.

The HZ35W and HZ30W cameras offer high-definition video recording at a resolution of 720p/30fps. Due to H.264 compression, these cameras can be directly connected to a HDTV without a cradle. These useful gadgets also include Samsung’s advanced scene recognition technology named as, Smart Auto. Smart Auto has been upgraded from both cameras, so it is used with video and images too. While capturing digital stills, technology itself select best scene mode. For videos, it select setting that will yield best footage with proper disclosure and perfect colors.

The Samsung HZ35W and HZ30W digital cameras will be available in March 2010 but pricing is yet not confirmed.
