You can keep your food fresher for longer with Samsung RFG298 and Samsung RF268 French Door Refrigerators, industry’s first dual ice maker. It is an independently operated refrigerator, not taking away from the interior capacity and can be turned on and off.
External water filter and ice dispenser
An external filtered water and ice dispenser is located in the refrigerator, and an additional ice maker in the freezer resulting in increased ice making capacity of one and a half times over a single ice maker.
Two dual ice maker refrigerators are offered. The RFG298 features 28.5 cu. ft. having the largest storage capacity in a French Door Refrigerator, with an extra 3 cu. ft. of space over standard French Doors. This extra large interior is achieved through an advanced process that reduces the size of interior insulation while creating more useable room.
The 26 cu. ft, RF268 also offers a spacious interior allowing more storage room over standard French Doors, saving consumers trips to the grocery store.
Wider storage capacity
Controlling the refrigerator is convenient and easy with the digital display which shows the inside temperatures, when to change your filter and also controls the ice and water dispenser.
Twin Cooling System controls and generates cooling air for the refrigerator and freezer separately with two evaporators, two fan systems and precise electronic control.
The versatile Cool Select Pantry drawer allows to select temperature and functions that fit your lifestyle and needs. Control the temperature of your refrigerator can be done to thaw or chill items for a last minute dinner or spur-of-the-moment party.
The RFG298 is available in stainless ($2,999), platinum ($2,899), black ($2,699) and white ($2,699). The RF268 will be available in June in stainless ($2,499), platinum ($2,399), black ($2,199) and white ($2,199).
