RIM introduced BlackBerry Bold 9650 and Pearl 3G 9100

RIM has announced two new additions in BlackBerry handsets range — BlackBerry Bold 9650 and Pearl 3G 9100. Where, BlackBerry Bold 9650 is the latest addition to BlackBerry Bold portfolio of premium smartphones, Pearl 3G is the new smallest BlackBerry smartphone yet.

BlackBerry Pearl 3G is available in many lustrous colors like Opal Pink, Royal Purple, Flash White and Red Gradient, Piano and Black. The phone looks pretty cool in all colors. Blackberry Pearl 3G 9100 comes with QWERTY keypad, while BlackBerry Bold 9650 boasts traditional keypad.

BlackBerry Bold 9650 is a global smartphone for CDMA customers who want to stay connected and entertained. Blackberry Pearl 3G is a powerful 3G BlackBerry smartphone with uncompromising performance and top–of-the-line features, including all industry-leading BlackBerry email, messaging and social networking capabilities that people love.

The BlackBerry Bold 9650 smartphone supports 3G networks in North America and abroad and has optical trackpad and built-in Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g), which makes it possible to talk on phone while browsing web or sending and receiving email. BlackBerry Bold 9650 also includes 512 MB Flash memory and an expandable memory card slot that supports 32 GB microSDHC cards, with a 2 GB card included.

Measuring less than two inches wide and weighing only 3.3 ounces, Blackberry Peral 3G also manages to pack in support for high-speed 3G networks, Wi-Fi (b/g/n) and GPS along with powerhouse processor that drives visually stunning images on sharp, high-resolution display. It also features optical trackpad for smooth navigation, dedicated volume and media keys for added convenience. Along with this, there’s a 3.2 MP camera with flash for quality pictures on the go, and support for upto 32 GB of personal content.

It also has features of simultaneous voice and data, SureType technology, text and email messaging and BlackBerry Messenger. It is best for music because its Music playtime is up to 30 hours. Pricing for both smartphones is still a mystery, may be announced in May 2010.
