Pentax launches all-weather Optio W90 and X90 ultra-zoom cameras
After introducing K-x digital SLR camera, Pentax is here with new additions of digital cameras, named as Pentax Optio W90 and Pentax X90. Pentax W90 is a new addition in Optio line of cameras. On other hand Pentax X90 is latest model in their megazoom digital camera line.
Pentax Optio W90 camera is waterproof which captures images up to 20 feet under water. It also offers coldproof performance for reliable operations. Camera supports exceptional shockproof capacity to withstand a fall from a height of 1.2 meters and got a ring of LEDs around lens to help with low light photos or movies. It features an optical 5X zoom, 720p movie recording, 2.7 inch LCD with 16:9 wide screen aspect ratio, Advanced Pixel Track Shake Reduction and much more. Sharing of photos and videos is possible with Eye-Fi wireless LAN SD memory cards. Large LCD monitor offers innovative Subscreen Input function. Camera provides 12.1 effective MP with Pentax developed imaging engine and Pentax zoom lens.
PENTAX X90 megazoom digital camera features 12.1 MP sensor, high magnification optical 26X zoom lens, large-capacity lithium-ion battery and high speed continuous shooting up to 11 fps. Its super zoom lens offers a focal length coverage between 26mm wide angle to 676mm super telephot. Camera also comes equipped with electronic viewfinder with a diopter adjustment mechanism. Camera captures high-quality, blur-free movie clips with minimal effort. Along with Programmed AE mode, it also supports Aperture-Priority AE, Shutter-Priority AE and Metered Manual modes. It’s advanced Auto Picture mode automatically selects most appropriate shooting mode for user convenience. Pentax X90 comes equipped with advanced High-Sensitivity anti shake mode.
PENTAX Optio W90 digital camera is priced for $329.95 and PENTAX X90 camera is $399.95. Both cameras will hit the market by April 2010.
