Pentax announces Optio RZ18 Digital Compact Camera!
Last month, after winning Camera Grand Prix Japan 2011 “Camera of the Year” award, PENTAX Imaging Company announced a limited edition version of its 645D DSLR camera. Once again, world’s one of the leading digital camera manufacturers – PENTAX pleased their fans by introducing Optio RZ18 digital compact camera. Latest addition to PENTAX Optio RZ zoom lens series, Optio RZ18 offers simple shooting for a wide variety of subjects and occasions from action and spectator sports to travel and landscape.

Lightweight yet powerful, PENTAX Optio RZ18 offers 18X optical zoom lens, covering focal lengths from 25mm wide angle to 450mm super-telephoto. Its high-resolution 16 megapixel sensor is enough for large prints or aggressive image cropping. Sporting 3-inch LCD display with HVGA resolution delivers crystal-clear visuals. Multiple PENTAX Shake Reduction (SR) image stabilization function comes with sensor-shift SR for sharp image quality in any lighting condition.
All-new PENTAX digital camera is engineered to take guesswork out of photography with powerful automatic shooting modes. PENTAX Optio RZ18 features advanced 9-point autofocus, 4cm super macro mode, face detection, and much more. It allows users to record impressive HD videos in 720p at 30fps (frames per second).
