Orange iPhone 3GS coming to UK in November
Orange UK and Apple company have reached an agreement to bring iPhone 3GS to their millions of customers in UK. Orange is currently offering iPhone 3GS in 28 countries and territories. Orange probably had 200,000 people registration with their interest in this handset already.
Orange has largest 3G network in UK, covering more people than any other operator. They’ll sell iPhone in all Orange direct channels including Orange webshop, Orange shops and Orange telesales channels, as well as selected high street partners.
Orange have not yet confirmed about their pricing for iPhone 3GS nor which tariffs they’ll be offering to subscribers. Competition might drive down both the initial cost of handset and ongoing tariff costs. Orange executives have said that the company is more likely to look at other ways of increasing “value” of their version by including accessories and possibly pre-installing applications.
Orange UK will start selling iPhone 3GS from November 10th. Check out specs and details of iPhone 3GS here.
