Nokia’s RX-51/N900 Rover gets prereviewed
The rumors about Nokia’s upcoming tablet, Nokia RX-51, were swirling about its existence. But, fact is that the device has cleared FCC which is a pretty good sign for it’s nearby coming in market.
The RX-51 is still N900 Rover when it comes to code names, and is running Maemo5, Nokia’s open-source platform. Have a look on this upcoming piece of tech.
N900 Rover is covered by a 3.5″ touchscreen with a resolution of 800 x 480, and has a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard. Other specs include HSPA, WiFi, a 5-megapixel camera, and 32 GB of internal storage.
There hasn’t been any official word for its launch, but the tablet is still rumored to be released some time later this year. If you’re a Nokia fan, a T-Mobile customer and want this tablet, then it looks like your dreams are pretty close to be fulfilled. As T-Mobile USA is number one on list for candidates to get the Rover.
The FCC has cleared the device with AWS 3G with built-in 3G WWAN. It’s expected to hear some more from Nokia officially about RX-51 in September, at Nokia World.
