Nikon unveils DX-format SLR camera: D300S
Nikon Corporation , Tokyo, today introduced its new DX-format digital SLR flagship, the Nikon D300S . Inheriting the finest features of highly acclaimed D300, the D300S posses many innovative enhancements and is designed to meet an even broader scope of creative demands from serious photographers.

- Rapid 7 fps with included rechargeable Li-ion Battery EN-EL3e, and 8 fps optional Multi-Power Battery Pack MB-D10 and rechargeable EN-EL4 battery continuous shooting.
- Refined D-Movie function with an external microphone input for clear stereo sound recordings.
- Multi-CAM 51 AF points 3500DX AF sensor module to offer fast, efficient and precise autofocus coverage.
- Approx. 100% large and bright viewfinder frame coverage and 0.94 magnification.
- Nikon’s original DX-format CMOS image sensor with 12.3 MP.
