Netgear Push2TV Adapter gets official

Netgear launched their new Push2TV Adapter named as PTV1000, which is designed to work with Intel’s newly announced WiDi (Wireless Display) technology. This small device enables you to display entire laptop screen on big TV. With standard WiFi technology, you can experience your videos and pictures on your favorite HDTV, wirelessly. In order to take advantage of WiDi, you need a core i3, i5 or i7 processor in your computer. This adapter catch signals from your laptop and feeds your desktop to the TV via HDMI.

You will be able to access vast majority of content quickly on your computer or from Internet and view it on TV. Connecting a laptop to Push2TV is very simple and safe. Intel Wireless Display pick up fully rendered display frames in real-time and sends compressed video & audio directly to Push2TV via Intel WiFi technology. It reduces wireless bandwidth overhead, up to 50 percent when compared to others. The intuitive setup and Wi-Fi technology, Push2TV quickly beams laptop screen to HDTV over a protected link. So you can easily access any content, which you normally access on your PCs.
