Motorola announces CLIQ XT Android Phone with MOTOBLUR and Swype

Motorola took the limelight at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona with its new Android Phone- QUENCH. After launching CLIQ Android smartphone, Motorola company is adding a new member QUENCH with MOTOBLUR to its Android family. In U.S., device will be called as CLIQ XT. This 8th Android powered device has very impressive and sleek design and includes a fast 3G, GPS and WIFI with full HTML browser.

Motorola CLIQ XT comes incorporated with Swype technology, so that users can input words faster than other methods (more than 50 words per minute). It got a autofocus 5 MP camera with flash led and a continuous digital zoom for crystal clear pictures. This phone runs on Android 1.5 and give fast access to Google’s services such as Google Maps, Gtalk, Picasa and Google Voice Search. Unlike CLIQ there’s no need for physical keyboard rather it uses on-screen QWERTY keyboard. This phone also uses dual microphones and noise cancellation technology.

CLIQ XT makes messaging easier with its in-built MOTOBLUR and Swype features. It also supports various email clients like IMAP, Windows Live, Yahoo and music player is integrated with Amazon’s MP3 store, YouTube, SoundHound and many more. Phone provides an amazing web experience on a full touch-screen device with pinch and zoom capabilities. Adobe Flash Lite enables rich media content to be displayed and fully enjoyed on its 3.1″ high-resolution display. Navigation is fully enhanced with a front-facing touch pad. User can easily find information online or within device with voice-activated search (English only).

If someone lose his phone, then the lost device can be located from a secure personal information portal. Pricing of Motorola CLIQ XT phone is yet to be known but it will be available for purchase during first quarter of ongoing year. In U.S., Motorola CLIQ XT is expected to be available in March through T-Mobile USA.
