UI Centric unveils Macallan User Interface for Windows 7
UI Centric, world leading user interface designer company has announced first images and details of it’s upcoming tablet computing interface for Windows 7 devices i.e. Macallan. Macallan user interface [UI] is designed from scratch, just for tablet/slate use. So, this tablet UI is not an adaptation of desktop or mobile phone operating system. It features clean, finger friendly interface capable of Microsoft Silverlight, Adobe Flash and uses the page flip gesture for multitasking functionality.

Macallan UI Features include:
- Adobe Flash support
- Native multitasking
- Camera & video chat functionality
- USB and memory card support
According to UI Centric – “Macallan will be available under licensing model to hardware manufacturers targeting Microsoft Windows 7 or Windows 7 Embedded Compact. As a comprehensive “off-the-shelf” solution, it will empower manufacturers to easily and affordably offer a next generation multi-touch user experience. The first device from a major manufacturer’s to run Macallan will debut in Q3 2010“.
