Lenovo Launches Three New Tablets!

Lenovo has finally joined the tablet market with its first family of tablets – IdeaPad Tablet K1 for consumers, IdeaPad Tablet P1 for home & office use, and ThinkPad Tablet for business customers. All three tablets are powered by blazing-fast processors that produce enough power sufficient for seamless multitasking, console-quality gaming, speedy web browsing, low power consumption, and much more.

IdeaPad Tablet K1

As the first Android 3.1 “Honeycomb” tablet certified to deliver Netflix video streaming, Lenovo IdeaPad Tablet K1 comes pre-loaded with more than 30 free app, plus easy access to tons of apps available at Android Market and Lenovo App Shop. With Full Flash support, user can fully enjoy favorite web contents. Sporting a true 10.1″ (1280×800) HD display is ideal for high-quality HD movies and video. Using HDMI connection users can watch their favorite video contents on bigger HDTV in full 1080p. With Lenovo’s exclusive SocialTouch app, users can access an entire network of friends and social sites in one place. IdeaPad Tablet K1 features a 5.0MP rear camera, 2.0 front camera, 32GB hard drive, 1 GB Onboard LPDDR2 600MHz RAM, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, 2 Cell Li-Polymer battery, and more. Share photos, videos and files with integrated cloud storage. IdeaPad Tablet K1 is available for order with a price tag of $499 at select business partners, retail stores nationwide, or online at Lenovo store.

ThinkPad Tablet

IdeaPad Tablet P1 is powered by 1.5GHz Intel processor and runs on Microsoft Windows 7 OS. With this engineering, users can be more productive with Office documents. Its multitouch display and Digitizer pen add more flexibility, while full Adobe Flash Player support provides an entirely new level of web browsing. At just 14.5mm thin and weighing less than 2lbs, IdeaPad Tablet P1 offers portability, power and versatility for office, home, and on-the-go. In addition to quick Android Market access, IdeaPad tablet users can easily access specifically tested apps available at Lenovo App Shop. Lenovo IdeaPad Tablet P1 features integrated front-mounted webcam, USB and microSD card reader, HD playback, and more. This tablet will be available in the fourth quarter 2011. Designed for on-the-go professionals, ThinkPad Tablet features up to 64GB storage, dual cameras, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G connectivity, USB 2.0, micro-USB ports, full-size SD card slot, mini-HDMI output, and much more. This Lenovo tablet is fueled by NVIDIA Tegra 2 Dual-Core 1GHz processor and runs on Android 3.1 “Honeycomb” OS. Sporting 10.1″ WXGA (1280×800) display comes with scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass and IPS display for 178-degree viewing angle. This business-class tablet keeps users connected, productive and entertained while on-the-go. ThinkPad Tablet comes pre-loaded with many data security and productivity enhancement tools like Citrix Receiver, DataViz, SocialTouch, and more than 25 free app. 16GB Wi-Fi version of ThinkPad Tablet P1 is priced at $509 including digitizer pen, while 32GB ThinkPad Tablet (Wi-Fi model) with digitizer pen is $589. Buy it for $479 without digitizer pen. ThinkPad Tablet can be ordered in the U.S. starting August 2, 2011.

All Lenovo tablets come with one-year warranty. Lenovo also offers warranty upgrade options that can extend IdeaPad tablet warranty for one additional year and ThinkPad tablet for two additional years.
