Kinect Xbox 360 demos at Macy’s on July 15 onwards
Microsoft bet in motion based gaming market is resting squarely on shoulders of Kinect. If you can not wait to try out Kinect for Xbox 360 in November, then here is a chance to try it out as early as next week. But you will be trying it out in type of place you would probably be least expecting. Yes, it’s not GameStop- retailers, it’s Macy’s.. Macy’s has announced that 13 stores across nation will be home to Kinect demo setups that will allow people to come and try out “new Xbox” accessory starting July 15 and actually playable right now in Microsoft Stores across nation.
On 15th July, Macy’s will unveil Kinect for Xbox 360, whole new way to play with controller free games and entertainment. Simply step in front of sensor and Kinect hears your voice, sees your move and recognizes it and no controller is required for that. Games are designed to be quick to play, easy to learn and fun to watch, so, even those who have never played before can jump right in and can have full fun. Kinect for Xbox 360 puts power in your body, voice and hands. Try it out with friends at Macy’s, before it hits stores November 4.
While showing off Kinect in Macys not make sense right but Kinect has to be marketed to everyone, as it (in Microsoft eyes) is a platform for both hardcore as well as casual gamers. So getting all those families some hands on time with new system would do them some good.
