ICD Ultra Tegra T20 Touchscreen Android Mini-Tablet
After the ICD’s 15-inch Android Vega tablet device, now the company is unveiling its second Android-based device, ICD Ultra Tegra T20. It is a 7-inch touchscreen tablet and sports quite an impressive set of specifications.
It is integrated with 3G, WiFi b/g and Bluetooth 2.1, and NVIDIA Tegra T20 chipset. With RAM and ROM of 512MB each, 4GB of hardwired storage, 2G / 3G Data, a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, this mini tablet has an HDMI out, FM Radio, USB 2.0, and a micro SD slot too. The device also has ambient light sensor, an accelerometer and 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Vega is intended for at-home use, serving up Internet browsing and media consumption, but the Ultra has set its sights on being mobile companion. Measuring 186 x 158 x 18 mm, its reasonably compact. ICD will be offering both capacitive and resistive touchscreen options running at either 800 x 480 or 1024 x 600 resolutions. The version has a chance to play with prototype running Android 2.0 Eclair. There’s a mini-HDMI port for hooking up HDTV also.
The Ultra is expected to sell for somewhere in $249 price range.
