Google Nexus One Phone now gets official

Google has now gone official with their latest Android handset Nexus One. The concept of a “Google Phone” had been rooted in people conscience. The HTC-built Nexus One runs Android 2.1 atop a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU. It has 3.7-inch, 480 x 800 display, 512MB of ROM and 512MB of RAM. It already has 4GB micro SD card which is expandable up to 32GB.

The phone is a T-Mobile device which includes standard modern additions of proximity sensor, a light sensor and accelerometer. It has a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, and the pictures it snaps look pretty decent. In fact, camera software is much faster than same component on the Droid.

Thickness of phone is just 11.5mm, and it measures 59.8mm up & 119mm across down. It’s a bit lighter phone than you expect. Curved & slightly tapered edges makes it truly comfortable phone to hold. There are four hardware buttons for back, menu, home, and search on glass-covered front.

The Nexus One, available to order through search giant’s new webstore. Google have partnered with T-Mobile in US to offer HTC-built device. Google revealed it as of Spring 2010, the “superphone” that will be available through Verizon Wireless in the US and Vodafone in Europe. Customer can purchase this phone for $179.99 by sign up for a two-year agreement with T-Mobile. Otherwise, It will cost you at $529.99.
