Favi announces new projectors for superb visibility
Favi has announced its new line of LED-based pico projectors, RIOLED-Q and RIOLED-V. The RIOLED-Q projector is specially designed for business use. It provides 800 x 600 native resolution at 50 lumens. It has built-in memory and a SD/MMC card reader. RIOLED-Q projector is very bright which supports three-watt stereo speaker and digital keystone correction. Other features include A/V in, VGA-in, USB connections and power via battery or adapter.

The another one is Favi RIOLED-V projector. It’s a Wi-Fi model which company describes as hybrid netbook/mediaplayer/projector. It uses Linux operating system to run a series of web applications like YouTube, Flickr & Picasa for photos, Internet Radio, Yahoo News RSS, Weather and Web Browser. It supports USB, A/V output and headphone connectors. It also has a built-in alarm clock & calendar. User can operate it with a remote control or by buttons on the unit.
Favi also announced a new portable projector named as RIOHD-LED2, for educational, business and home theater use. Due to its size 7 x 6 x 3 inches and weight 2.5 pounds, it falls between mini projector and standard portable projector. It is bright for a small portable projector at 400 lumens, and its LED lamp should last 20,000 hours. It ships with a remote control, power adapter and user guide.
The RIOHD-LED2 has built-in speakers and inputs includes HDMI, YPbPr, S-Video, Composite A/V, Headphone and VGA (PC). The RIOHD-LED2 will ship in early February for $348. The above two pico projectors, RIOLED-Q and RIOLED-V will be available in late February or early March. Pricing of these projectors is yet not confirmed.
