Dell recently unveiled the much awaited tablet/smartphone hybrid, “Dell Streak” also known as “Mini5″. Dell press release revealed full price and tech details of Dell Streak. Now, it is available via AT&T in US. AT&T is also up with BlackBerry Torch and now with Dell Streak. Earlier Streak was revealed in UK with services of O2 which led its name as O2 Dell Streak.

Dell wanted to offer consumers something bit different and it seem Dell has achieved the goal. Dell Streak has 5MP camera with dual LED flash at back, powerful 1GHz Snapdragon processor, Internal storage, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity. In comparison to Dell Mini3 smart phone, 3.5inch HD touch screen, Dell Streak or Mini5 has 5-inch TFT LCD supporting multitouch display.

Dell Streak tablet smartphone has UMTS/HSPA modem with voice call functionality. Running Android 1.6 OS version, Dell has positioned it as a ”voice-enabled tablet” rather than just a smartphone. According to Dell press release, Dell Streak has 2 cameras, front VGA camera and another backside with 5MP, Bluetooth and Internal memory of 16GB expandable upto 32GB. Dell also states that device was designed ”with future in mind” means that it will be able to support Adobe Flash 10.1 and new version of Android 2.2 Froyo.

Dell Streak is available in black and red color. Dell Streak price is $550. But Dell Streak is priced at $299.99 with 2 year AT&T contract, which is an affordable offer. Dell Streak tablet/smartphone seems good investment taking into account it’s price and features. Moreover, since device has Multitasking Google Android OS, users will be advantaged by wide range of applications.
