Dell introduced Precision M6500 Mobile Workstation

Dell recently updated their mobile workstation with Precision M6500. This new notebook boasts an impressive range of Intel Core i7 quad-core processor within and hits a maximum speed of 2GHz with Core i7 Extreme. It is also the first notebook anywhere to use with NVIDIA’s Quadro FX 3800M workstation graphics chips, which supplies an extra level of speed when it comes to 3D rendering.

It has a 17-inch screen with up to 1920 x 1200 display and gains further control over color. The panel covers all Adobe RGB space and now, it has user selectable color profiling to match particular conditions on the spot. Higher-end trim levels bring various degrees of RGB LED back-lighting.

There’s also a considerable 1.6GHz Core i7 720QM processor, a 1GB ATI FirePro M7740 graphics chip, 2GB of DDR3 1066MHz RAM and 160GB 5400RPM hard drive. A fully optioned M6500 carries both faster processor and GPU. It has 3 hard drives, including 500GB rotating drives, 256GB solid-state drives and 160GB encrypted drives. Also has 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, a nine-cell battery, up to 16GB of DDR3 memory, read-only 8x DVD burner and Windows 7 Professional.
