Blue&Me Technology

The Blue&Me technology is result of collaboration between Fiat Auto and Microsoft which will change your way to communicate and listen music on the move.

Using a series of voice commands, you can call, listen to incoming SMS messages, interpreted on your Bluetooth Blue&Me mobile phone, consult your phonebook and listen to MP3s, without taking hands off the wheel . Blue&Me supports many mobile phones with Bluetooth technology. This technology will be available to you in these models of Fiat: Bravo, Grande Punto 5-door, Grande Punto 3-door, Linea, 500, New Croma, and Qubo.

Coming to it’s specifications:

Hands free system: The Blue&Me hands-free system uses exclusive universal voice-recognition technology and doesn’t need much time to learn your voice. After pairing your Bluetooth mobile phone with this system, and by downloading your phone’s phonebook only once, you can make and receive phone calls simply by speaking; without taking your hands off the wheel or your eyes off the road.
Up to 5 different mobile phones can be paired with this system: If you want that more than one paired phone should be present in the car at the same time, then Don’t worry!Blue&Me connects you with the last phone used. Ass many 5 phones can be paired with this wonder tech.

Steering wheel controls: You can call a number by dictating the number, or by saying the name of the person you want to call (if they are in your phone’s phonebook). But if you don’t remember the number or name, just use the steering wheel controls to scroll through the phone book on the display on the instrument panel.

SMS reader: You can have the system read SMS for you out loud! It can even explicate abbreviations and smilies!

Music entertainment: With this technology, you can listen to all your favorite music in car, in MP3/WMA/WAV digital format. All you have to do is connect your Media Player, USB pen-drive, an MP3-player or a smart phone, or an I-pod to USB port in a handy position in center of dashboard. The only requirement is that the files downloaded, such as iTunes files, are not covered by music copyright.
