Apple unveiled New TV Set Top Box for $99!!
Apple unveiled new version of its Apple TV set top box that has programming features from Netflix Inc and Google Inc YouTube. As well as, this set top box includes rental service featuring shows from Walt Disney Co. ABC. Technology giant has revealed affordable & smaller version of Apple TV. Apple TV which connects to HDTV and can show rented movies & TV shows from Apple’s own service plus photos on Flickr, content from Netflix, YouTube clips and much more. It has Video Rental Store whose TV episode cost 99 cents per program from News Corp. Fox, according to Apple Chief Executive Officer Steve Jobs.

Apple TV has been redesigned to small size but big on entertainment. Rent from largest selection of HD movies many available on same day as they come out on DVD. Watch Netflix titles instantly. One can rent TV shows, commercial free in HD and stream photos & music from computer to wide-screen TV. Best of all, cost of this 2nd generation Apple TV is just $99. Previous Apple TV set-top box was priced for $299. This new Apple TV looks different because it’s in black color, opposite to Apple’s white vision. One can control all via Apple Remote TV set top box.

Mr Jobs also unveiled social media features for its iTunes software, new line up of iPods including touchscreen Nano and new software for its iPod Touch, iPad devices and iPhone.

Apple TV will be available within a month. It will display movies, shows, photos and music streamed over Wi-Fi from another devices such as iPads and iPod Touch, computers with iTunes installed and iPhones. For instance, an iPad user could start watching movie on tablet walking into the living room and with few taps, finish watching it on TV screen!!
Overall things sounds nice..but will it be popular like other Apple devices? Think it’s a big Yes!
