Acer’s four smartphones to launch in September?

Rumors sourced from Taiwan’s handset component suppliers says that Acer is planning to launch it’s four smartphones, the A1, C1/E1, F1 and L1, at the end of September and in this year’s fourth quarter.
The A1 is powered with Android, while other three are based on Windows Mobile (WinMo) platform.
The L1 will be manufactured by Compal on an ODM basis, while F1 and A1 smartphones will be rolling out on an OEM basis. Sources also indicated that Inventec will turn out C1/E1 smartphone on an ODM basis.
Arima Communications, another OEM/ODM handset maker may join Compal and Inventec to compete for Acer’s smartphone orders in 2010 as company has also stepped into development of smartphones based on Android and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon platforms.
Smartphone F1 will have 1GHz Processor and a 3.8 inch WVGA Touch-screen display, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, 5 MP camera with Autofocus and many more.
The L1 slider will come with a 2.8 inch touchscreen display, an alphanumeric keypad, 5-way navigation key, and customized UI Plugin by Acer.
The C1 will be most affordable device coming with 2.8 inch touschreen display, 2 MP camera, 528 MHz Processor, GPS and Social Networking support.
Pricing is still not unveiled.
